Facial Palsy and Neuro Physio is run by experienced Physiotherapist Katie Karran. Katie graduated from Keele University in 2006 and worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for 12 years. She has acquired a vast repertoire of skills in a variety of specialisms to assist your recovery. Her clinical interests are Facial Palsy, Dystonia, MS, Neuromuscular conditions, peripheral nerve injuries and general neurology.
Katie is a member of the Facial Therapy Specialist Network and The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology, she has been a committee member providing lectures and training. Katie has a passion for developing her own clinical expertise and assisting others to develop theirs.
She lives in Sheffield and can often be found exploring the Peak District with her husband and young family. She has a passion for all aspects of fitness and it's positive impact on general health and wellbeing.

Your initial assessment will take around 60-90 minutes and will incorporate a full medical history and an assessment of your function.
At Facial Palsy and Neuro Physio you will be provided with a comprehensive scientifically based treatment programme that will be specifically tailored to your needs. Treatment is discussed with you and re-evaluated regularly to make sure you are making the progress you expect.
